3 things you should watch in Jaguars Otas

The Jacksonville Jaguars will start tomorrow OTAS and mark the first OTA time of the new head coach Liam Coens.

So what will we look for while we see the practice? We open it below.

Trevor Lawrences Health

The biggest thing you can monitor for Jacksonville in the exercises outside of the season is clear: the health of Trevor Lawrence. The franchise quartersback was accepted last season with a shoulder injury that would later require an operation, and the Jaguars made it clear how expectations of its recovery would be at the beginning of the low season.

“He has just worked on it himself to monitor this with the doctors and with will [Strength and Conditioning Coach Will Wynkoop] and ferg [Vice President of Player Health and Performance Jeff Ferguson] And these guys below. We had nothing to do with it at the moment, “said Coen on April 9th when the offseason of the Jaguars started.

“While we are on the occasion, we are optimistic that we will arrive where we have to go. He will be on a pitch for these things in which he has to come because he has only a few touches that he has to achieve before he can obviously go to the grass and do full speed.

These comments came more than a month ago, so it will be interesting to see how Lawrence has progressed since then and how many repetitions he really takes with regard to simple throwing. Lawrences Health has proven to be the decisive factor for the success of the Jaguars or the lack of the last two season.

Travis and Trevor

Outside of Lawrences Health, the next largest attraction in the Miller Electric Center Facility will be number 2 Travis Hunter. Hunter practiced at Wide Receiver during the rookie -Minicamp, and Coen said that Hunter would get defender in the following practices. Where he practices on Monday remains to be seen, but it would be a lot of sense if it was a broad recipient.

If Hunter actually practices at Wide Receiver, it will be fascinating to see extended repetitions between him and Trevor Lawrence – as well as his repetitions alongside Brian Thomas Jr.

The new looking OL

The Jaguars added Six new offensive lines This low season (four via free agency, two via Draft picks) and it is quite clear that the Jaguars in the position room of Complete Ground Zero begin. It remains to be seen who will be the starters of week 1 outside of clear castles in Robert Hainsey and Patrick Mekari.

As a result, there could be three battles for the starting rollers: Walker Little and Fred Johnson on the left Tackle, Ezra Cleveland and Wyatt Milum at the left guard as well as Anton Harrison and Chuma Edoga in the right tackle. The winners will not be set for some time, but it is Otas when the competition begins.
