East New York Fatal Shooting: 18-year-old man shot and killed, woman injured after shots in Brooklyn, NYC, have broken out

East New York, Brooklyn (WABC) – An 18-year-old man is dead and another person is injured after shots have broken out in front of a house in Brooklyn.

The fatal shootout occurred shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday in the New Jersey Avenue in East New York.

On arrival, the officials found an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound on his upper body. The police also found an 18-year-old woman who was shot into the right arm on site.

First aiders transported the victims to the hospital, where the man was later declared dead. The woman is currently in a stable state.

There are currently no arrests because the authorities are now trying to determine a motive for the shootout.
