Woman and her unborn child dead in the crash of Monroe County dead, says Sheriff; 1 in custody

A 32-year-old woman and her unborn child are dead, and a man is in custody after a rollover crash in Whiteford Township, Michigan.

According to the Sheriff office of the Monroe County, the crash on the US Highway 23 was registered north against the Consear Road at around 10 p.m.

The woman, who was identified by civil servants as Kaitlyn A. Ellison, drove a Ford escape on the right lane of the highway when a 24-year-old man on the left lane with a Chrysler 300 on the left lane.

The Sheriff's office says that the collision led to the fact that the Ford rolled over an embankment several times before it came to the break on the side. Ellison from Petersburg, Michigan, was taken to a hospital by the Whiteford Township fire department, where she later died.

According to Sheriff's Office, Ellison was in seventh month pregnant. Your unborn child also died after the crash.

Witnesses told the Sheriff's deputy that the man from Oregon, Ohio, drove past vehicles on the right shoulder of the highway before the crash. He finally merged into the right lane and tried to pass Ellison on the left when the Chrysler hit the Ford.

The influence brought the Chrysler into a nearby median. The sheriff's office says the man left the scene on foot. He was later set and arrested at a nearby petrol station.

He is recorded in the prison of Monroe County in the crime debt.
