Nationality of the injury: Cavalli, Law and Young

In the course of a season in the Major League baseball, the teams are affected with injuries. There is really no way to predict when you will pass and no way to avoid them. The Washington Nationals are certainly no different, since, among other things, several important contributors landed on the injured list of various places this season such as CJ Abrams, Michael Soroka and Derek Law.

From now on we have some urgently needed updates about some players who should be important contributors for the Nationals in the 2025 season, including 2 people who do not have to have an appearance for the club this year.

Cade Cavalli

The first name is Cade Cavalli, a former top 100 view that apparently the forgotten man has become among the top names of the organization. While his journey was very long and difficult to recover from Tommy John Operation in 2023, it seems as if he were going to approach a return soon.

Last week, Cavalli was officially activated by the 15-day IL and selected for AAA Rochester, where he will continue to build up and try to return to his dominant form, which we saw before his first big league call in 2022. I would expect Cavalli to take a look this summer, provided that his numbers at AAA begin to improve, and as soon as he shows that he can immerse yourself in games again.

Derek Law

Do you remember Derek Law? The reliever, which appeared in 75 games last year and performed 90.0 in the Bullpen of the team in the Bullpen of the team last season in 2025.

These are massive news because a potential bullpen replacement could come for a unit that had problems all season, although it has looked much better lately. He was on the 15-day IL with the right-wing indoor inflammation and will probably take a long time to get together with a rehab order before he is able to connect the Nationals again.

Jacob Young

The final name I want to discuss is one who actually happened yesterday. Jacob Young left the game against Orioles after banging into the outer field wall. While the collision initially feared many fans that something worse had happened to him, the nationals received positive news after the game after the game in relation to his injury status.

At the time of writing, it seems as if Young will be with a left shoulder injury every day, and X -rays also came back negatively for the Nationals' fields. In the meantime, Dylan crews should glide into the middle, assuming that an IL stint can be avoided, with Alex Call taking over in the right field. If he should go to the IL, we may have been able to one of the best prospects of the team in Robert Hassell III. See that the team almost brought out of spring training, or the hot daylen lile, his first crack on the show.

Who do you want to return to the Nationals first? As always, please let me know on X, @dcberk.
