Max Verstappen achieved his second victory of the 2025 season after a sensational round 1 over Oscar Piatri overtook the reigning world champion in the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.

The Red Bull driver swept the outside of Polesitter Piatri into the first brake zone and then checked out to make a pit stop under a virtual security car and to give a security car with 10 rounds on the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit.

Lando Norris was first class for McLaren after he had come past Piatri late with the help of a lot of fresher Pirelli tires, while Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were able to cheer the Tifosi something after a sum of the fourth and sixth place.
