The Lemonheads return with 'Deep End' Video

(BHM) The lemon heads are today with “deep end” b/w “Sad Cinderella”, which are now available via Fire Records. The double -sided single Herald the upcoming arrival of Love Chant, the first album of the legendary band in almost two decades, which will be released in autumn.

“Deep End” is accompanied by an official music video that is filmed on site in Sao Paulo, Brazil, by the directors Carlao Busato and Luigi Parisi, now on YouTube. A vinyl version of the single in Limited-Edition 12 “will be released on June 13th.

Written with Dando with the long-time employee Tom Morgan von Smudge, the solo guitar from JRS Mascis from Dinosaur JR and backing vocals from Dear Freund and frequent lemon head guests Juliana Hatfield In “Sad Aschen puttel” the lemon heads see their unique stamp on a delicate cover by Towns van Zandt's romantic tear jerk, whereby Dando, next to the recognized Nashville Folk Pop songwriter Erin Rae, shares a beautifully brittle duet vocals.

“It has never been so painless to make a video,” says Dando. “Everyone worked really well. The endless sidewalk fits the song very well.”

The Lemonheads will mark their long-awaited resumption with a far-reaching world tour, starting this month with a series of headlines shows in Dando's loved Australia and New Zealand and celebrate the last 30-year anniversaries of the immortal albums. Additional headlines and first -class festival appearances in Great Britain and Europe will be underway in August, whereby the North American data will be announced shortly.
