Two shots, one, after shooting near Nifong McDonald's

Columbia, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two people were shot in McDonalds near Nifong on Sunday afternoon.

A CPD police officer announced ABC 17 News that a person has life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to the hospital. A man was arrested, he said.

CPD said they believe that all people who are involved in custody or hospital in the shootout.

A new reporter from ABC 17 saw at least 10 vehicles from the police authority in Columbia, three vehicles from the Boone County Sheriff office and several ambulances around 12:50 p.m. in the parking lot of McDonald's on Nifong Blvd.

Several evidence markers were also seen in the parking lot of the McDonald's.
