Man shot in Upper Darby on Sunday afternoon

The police and ambulance staff answered the Long Lane and in Upper Darby for a man with a gunshot wound shortly before 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The immediate description was a male unconscious with a gunshot wound on the lower back.

According to the police and outpatient radio traffic:

The police asked for doctors to increase it and started CPR. The streets were closed in the area.

The Medic unit arrived and described that a 20-year-old man was taken to Penn Presbyterian in respiratory detention.

The police were looking for a male male who came from the scene witnesses, and the officials also looked for a gray car.

The Upper Darby police published these details shortly after 5 p.m.:

“We are deeply sad to report that a 16-year-old boy was fatally shot today around 2:58 p.m.

“Preliminary information indicates that the victim and another youthful man were involved in a dispute on which the suspect shot the victim into the lower back. The victim was brought to the Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he was later pronounced as deceased.

“We are in contact with officials from the Upper Darby school district and work closely with them to offer resources and support for the family, students and employees of the victim.

“Everyone with information is asked to contact the police below 610-734-7693.

“Please keep all those affected in your thoughts. We appreciate your continued support and cooperation.”
