What happened to Yusei Kikuchi? Live violation of injury for Dodgers against angels

Yusei Kikuchi left the game on Sunday against the Dodgers after suffering an ankle injury at the end of the sixth place. It was a scary game for Kikuchi who left the hill to cover the first basis.

Tommy Edman met a helicopter at the first Baseman, so Kikuchi covered the bag. Kikuchi and Edman initially collided what led to Kikuchi's injury.

Covering the first basis is difficult for a pitcher, especially if it is a tight game. There were a number of such injuries in MLB history.

The angels officially reported the injury as right ankle irritation. If this is all, it seems that Kikuchi avoided a serious injured list.

Kikuchi left the game after this game, which was originally referred to as safe, but was lifted after the review. He threw 5.2 innings, seven and allowed a deserved run, three goals and four walks.
