The Racine community mourns the loss of the 11-year-old boy who was killed in family shooting

Racine, Wis .- (WRJN)-a 11-year-old boy was fatally shot by his sibling late Friday evening in Racine.

One explanation says that it took place in a house near the 2600 block of the Prospect Street around 10:30 p.m., stormed the boy, who was identified by relatives as Jesus “Chucho” Valladares, into a hospital, but according to Racine Police Department, he died of his injuries.

A 16-year-old sibling was custody in connection with the shootout. The police said that the prosecutor of Racine County was transferred to the district prosecutor.

Valladares was a fifth grader on Wadewitz Elementary School. The school PTA expressed condolences in a statement and said: “Our deepest condolences are changed by this incident forever.” A Gofundme donation campaign began to help the family with funeral costs.
