New York (AP) Petete Alonso and the Major League-leading New York Mets were on the field on Tuesday evening.

Alonso never became known for the Slick defense and made a trio of extensive stops on the first basis and the Mets put on their gloves during an 8: 3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

At the center of everything was a breathtaking fourth inning when New York, three consecutive precious strength pitcher David Peterson subsequently put it on the 1-2-3.

I thought Pete also had a really good day defensive. A few nice diving games, so I thought we played really well.”

Lindor and Alonso also met in the game. Taylor had an RBI double and a single with run scoring.

Supported from his striking teammates in the field, Peterson (2-1) allowed a run and five goals over five inner sings to achieve the victory.

“I have the feeling that everyone in our defense can play any games. It was crazy to have three of them in an inning, and I just wanted to get off the field and hug these boys because it was incredible,” he said.

“There is a lot of trust in them,” added Peterson. “I think if she plays like this, it's a great dynamic for the team.”
