8,900 US

A Rolex watch worth 8,900 US dollars was stolen on Thursday by a local company in the Valencia Town Center Mall, according to the business owner and the Santa Valley Sheriff's Station Santa Clarita Valley.

According to reports, the robbery reported only 40 minutes to Alin, the owner of Fast Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs Store, the Rolex made of stainless steel from 1975 for a possible customer. Alin declined to give her last name out of concern for her safety.

Two men and a woman entered the jewelry shop on Thursday and the employees turned to the people to ask if they need help. The three stated that they wanted to buy an article together to give them as a gift, she said.

When three employees showed them jewelry, they “went back and forth, they had been there for some time,” she said, and calculated that they spent 20 minutes nearby without being interested in buying something.

When Alin left the area for a short moment, one of the men, whom she referred to in the forty, leaned over the counter over the counter and grabbed a green box that contained the watch.

According to the Ring video film, the man hid the box in his jacket and brushed the shop for a few minutes before he and the other two people went, said Alin.

Employees of the family business and Alin itself were not aware of the stolen clock until Friday afternoon after she had searched her inventory to see if she was laid, she said.

She contacted the deputies with the Sheriff station Santa Clarita Valley at around 4 p.m. to submit a police report.

Deputy Villalobos, a spokeswoman for the station that refused to indicate her first name, confirmed on Saturday morning that the MPs reacted to the shopping center to examine the report of a stolen clock. She also explained that no arrests were made in connection with the alleged theft.

Watch Sgt. Johnny Gillespie was able to provide additional information because he had no access to the police report on Saturday.

Alin explained that the MP, who came to take the report, told her that with her ring camera film material and the safety material of the shopping center had a good guidance to identify the suspects.

This is not the first time that her business has fallen victim to Grand theft, she said, and “My frustration is, it's not fair for us. This is my bread and my butter, we are family here,” she said. She also felt exploited, but was also full of gratitude that nobody was injured during the incident.

“I am grateful that they didn't have a weapon or injured one of my employees. The objects are interchangeable,” said Alin when her voice broke. “I hate it when people say it is an inner job. My insurance is 10,000 US dollars, and this watch is not 10,000 US dollars, so it's not worth it.”
