Kentucky Death Toll rises to 19 when the municipalities are seven by storm and tornado

On Sunday afternoon, ten Kentuckians were treated in the British hospital for injuries. Three remained in a critical condition, four were upgraded to “fair” and three to “good”. According to governor Andy Beshear, this is on site in affected areas.

“It's hard to see,” said Beshear. “You can not only see the destruction, you can feel it.”

Most deaths occurred in the southeastern Laurel County, where hundreds of houses were partially or completely destroyed. The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF2 in Russell County has also gained before reaching Pulaski County – the other two areas in which deaths have now been confirmed.

The measurement teams were expected on Monday in Kentucky on site, so that the state begins with the now known process of applying for a federal disaster aid.

Overall, more than two dozen people died of the consequences of the storms that blew over the south and parts of the middle west.
