Yusuff Ali Musaliam Veettil Abdul Squad, also known as Ma Yusuff, is an Indian businessman and billionaire. He is the chairman and managing director of Lulu Group International- the owner of the Lulu Hypermarket Chain Worldwide and the Lulu International shopping center. According to the Forbes billionaire list (October 2023), Ali was the 27th richest Indian with a net assets of $ 6.9 billion.

Early life and education

Yusuff Ali was born on November 15, 1955 and comes from Kerala's thrisser. He completed his schooling of Karanchira Thrissur at the St. Xavier's High School and later received a diploma for corporate management and administration.

After completing his training, Yusuff Ali went to Abu Dhabi. There he concluded his uncle paternal, Mk Abdullah, the chairman and founder of the Lulu Group of Companies who monitored the business.

Ali took over the management of import and the group's wholesale distribution. In the 1990s he entered the supermarket business by launching the Lulu Hypermarket. Today, the Lulu group with Ali's business and passion has become an enormous international business in which Operations -Cors -Länder heads.

Interestingly, the Lulu International Shopping Mall in Keralas Kochi opened on March 10, 2013- the first retail company in the group in India.
