Video: LAPD motorcycle officer at DTLA Freeway Crash injured

A police officer from Los Angeles was injured after he came across a blocked car on a motorway in the city center of Los Angeles in the early Sunday morning, and the crash was captured on Dashcam film material.

What we know:

The crash occurred shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday on the 110 motorway near the 3rd street in the city center.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the officer met a van who was on the side of the highway. A dashcam in another nearby car conquered the immediate consequences of the dramatic crash. In the video, the official is seen a few feet before it comes to a standstill while the motorcycle continues and falls over several lanes.

LAFD paramedic took the officer to the hospital, who had only minor injuries, said Chp.

The officials held the driver of the van, who had stalled, but let him go later and dragged his car.
