Bolingbrook child killed: 2-year-old, fatally met by vehicles, which is back on the entrance to the Grand Canyon Drive, the police say, says the police, says the police

Bolingbrook, Ill. (WLS) – A small child died days after she had been hit by a vehicle that retired from an entrance in the southwestern suburbs at the beginning of this week, the police said.

The fatal crash occurred on Sunday at 1:53 p.m. in the 300 block of the Grand Canyon Drive in Bolingbrook, the police said.

The Bolingbrook police officers reacted to the scene and began to provide medical help to the victim, a 2-year-old child, before the paramedics from the Bolingbrook fire brigade arrived.

The child was brought to a local hospital in a critical condition, said the Bolingbrook police.

The child died of her injuries later on Tuesday, the office of the medical examiner from Cook County shared.

The traffic unit of the Bolingbrook police authority further examines the crash.
