Ishiba mourns the death of Uruguay's ex-Pres. Jose Mujica

Tokyo, May 19 (Jiji Press)-The Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba sent a condolence letter about the death of the former Uruguayan President Jose Mujica, who died on Tuesday at the age of 89.

In the letter that was sent to the current President of Uruguayan President Yamandu Orsi on Saturday, Ishiba expressed his condolences to the government and the people of the South American country and recognized Mujica's commitment to the poverty.
