Imperials “Park After Dark” delivered the kitchen and live music | News

Imperial The city of Imperial celebrated “Im Park After Dark”, a spring community event with a Taylor Swift cover band, Taco Trucks and snack stands in Ebere Park.

The visitors gathered on Saturday, May 17th, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the park, enjoyed live music and tried various kitchens, including Indian food from Tikka Twist and Churros Locos from another popup, MX in the USA.

Representatives of the fishing and aquaculture department of Baja California, Mexico, had a stand to advertise Cocina La Baja 2025. Ramon Inzunza, a promoter for the department, explained that Cocina La Baja had a festival festival from Ensenada on July 12th on July 12 for a few days in the industry workshops.

Inzunza said that 45 teams, each consisted of restaurant employees and a fish producer, compete against each other to suggest recipes and handicrafts of seafood.

“The whole idea is to promote fish and seafood use,” said Inzunza. “Obviously we always try to promote the species that are produced in Baja California.”

He explained that the fishing and aquaculture department uses events such as Cocina La Baja to teach the restaurant sector “the right way to manage fish products because it has a direct impact on quality”.

Inzunza added that the organizers also work closely with fishermen and bring them to seafood and business meetings to teach them how they can expand their sales. He said events such as Imperial's “Park After Dark” are a way to connect with the local community and to inform visitors about the festival.

Together with the food stalls and other stands, music was the big draw of the night. At 8 p.m. Cassie B. the singer of the Taylor Swift cover band “Dream Like Taylor” entered the stage. Among other things, she played “You belong to me” and “lover” to entertain the guests.

Both children and adult fans of the Superstar pop singer clap and sang together with the tribute band as a dazzling guitar from Cassie B on stage under purple and blue light.

Nancy Amparano, the coordinator for Special Event for Imperial's Parks and Recreation Department, explained that Imperial houses the “Park After Dark” series every May.

This year the Fiest Trucks by Fiesta del Valle “Flavor Fridays” were also presented. These providers go to Food Truck events in various cities in the valley in the valley, and Amparano said that the city invited them to take part in this “Park after Dark”.

In the past, Amparano said that the spring assembly also included Lucha Libre games and car shows.

“We just wanted to bring another event to our community, something that is fun for everyone before the summer hits have to do,” said Amarano. “This is our last event that we do for the season before it gets too hot, and then we will start again with our events in the Imperial in October.”
