Manchester you suffer serious injuries to Fremont Dirt Bike Crash

A man from Manchester suffered serious injuries in a dirt bike cash on Sunday afternoon, said nature conservation officer.

The 26 -year -old Matthew O'Rourke lost control of a dirt bike, removed from the side of the Rockingham Recreation Trail and beat a tree shortly before 1 p.m., as can be seen from a written press release from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. O'Rourke was thrown out of the bike and may have suffered life -threatening injuries during the crash, officers said.

A helicopter flew O'Rourke to the Tufts Medical Center in Boston to be treated for his injuries.

According to eyewitnesses, the speed seemed to be the main cause of the crash, officials said.

Fremont Fire and Rescue was able to free O'Rourke and bring him to an ambulance that was about half a mile away. The ambulance led him to a nearby helicopter zone behind the Ellis Elementary School.

The police and the Rescue Services of Fremont support at the crime scene together with the responders from Raymond, Plaistow.
