Stockton Street provider killed on shooting

Stockton – The Stockton police are looking for two masked men who shot a Stockton Street provider.

San Joaquin County's medical examiner identifies him as Ignacio Garcia. His family says he is a modest man.

The father and the husband were killed on Friday evening as Stockton Street seller in the California Street.

Victoria Herrera said the brazen and deadly attack left the neighborhood stunned.

“He was a gentleman who sold little snacks, small Mexican snacks on a small car,” said Herrera.

Your weekend -yard sale is set up on the same block in which Garcia was killed.

“And I feel bad for the family who goes through it, because I mean, frankly, they only tried to make ends meet,” I think, “said Herrera.

On an online fundraising page, the Garcia family described as a “friendly, modest and loving man who worked tirelessly to take care of his wife and children”.

Detectives are now looking for two suspects who wear masks that approached Garcia and began to deal before a suspect shot him into the hip. The suspects then robbed Garcia.

“You asked now, 'What do you sell?' And you know, he is confident of making a sale and they pull out a gun and shot it, “said Herrera.

The Stockton police said the suspects were decreased in a four -door limousine. You check the surveillance video and interviewed neighbors for leads.
