The police's chase ends with crashed into the Fort Plain Restaurant

The incident occurred in Fort Plain on Sunday morning.

The early Sunday morning there was a wild police hunt in Montgomery County.

It started in Canajoharia, said Mayor Pat Hanifin of Fort Plain. Fort Plain ended the chase when the car banged in Fiddlehead Craft Restaurant.

“We heard a loud bang against something very hard,” said a neighbor.

The wall is destroyed in the restaurant, with rubble lagging behind everywhere in the restaurant to prepare the food.

The car was damaged by thousands of dollars.

The restaurant is closed indefinitely.

“I'm still trying to process this. I received the call of about 230 from the sheriff department to get down here. There is a vehicle in your restaurant. Not quite what you expect. And when we arrived here, it doesn't disappoint,” said the owner of the restaurant, Aaron Katovitch.

Fort Plain's police said that the Canajoharie police would have more information about the crash. New Schannel 13 turned to Chief Raymond Renzi from the Canajoharie police and said that he could only provide information about the chase on Monday.

Listen from the restaurant owner while talking about how it was to get this call by looking at the video of Zach Richter's story.

Damage can be observed in the restaurant after a car had broken in early Sunday morning.
