NBA champion has been wrong about Lakers Rookie Bronny James

Bronny James had an up-and-down rookie season as a professional.

The Los Angeles Lakers Guard spent a lot of time between the G League (South Bay) and the NBA.

At the beginning of the season, Bronny fought both in the NBA (and in the G league).

During this time, the former NBA champion Jeff Teague made a courageous claim about Bronny (via Club 520 podcast).

Teague (on October 31, 2024): “If I look at the game, I just don't think he's so nice in basketball. I don't hate it … When I saw USC last year, I know that he was hurt … but I'm just like, no … I don't see it.”

While Bronny does not yet have to prove as a NBA player as injustice, he completely changed the narrative during his time in the G league.

The 20-year-old ended the regular season (G League) Average Of 21.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.9 steals per competition, while shooting 44.3% of the field and 38.0% from the three -point range in 11 games.

At least he showed that he was a good basketball player.

Via @statmamba (on March 25th): “Bronny James is the youngest player in the G League with an average of more than 20 ppg, 5+ RPG and 5+ Acts.”

As far as Teague is concerned, the All-Star recently played in the league in the 2020-21 season when he won the title with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The former Wake Forest Guard also spent time with the Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves in 12 seasons.
