Connor Zilisch to suspend the Texas Xfinity Race after the crash of Talladega; Kyle Larson for driving No. 88 Auto

Connor Zilisch will miss the Xfinity Series race on Saturday on the Texas Motor Speedway when he recovered at Talladega Superspeedway with a crash of lower back injuries last weekend, Trackhouse Racing said on Wednesday.

Zil is a development driver for Trackhouse race. He competes in the XFinity series around JR Motorsports.

Trackhouse Racing said: “The Trackhouse Racing Development driver plans to return to No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet as soon as possible.”

Kyle Larson will drive No. 88 for JR Motorsports in the race of the XFinity Series in Texas.

According to Texas, the XFinity series is switched off on the Charlotte Motor Speedway by May 24th.

The judge refuses Legacy MC's application to issue an injunction against Rick Ware Racing.

Zilisch raced for victory last weekend when the contact of friend Jesse Love turned Zil in the last round and his car headed head -on into the safer barrier on the inside of the hindron wall.

Zilisch told the CW network after leaving the Infield Care Center: “It was one of the wrecks in which they move their legs and make sure that everything feels fine afterwards.”

Zil is sixth in the points that enter the race of this weekend in Texas. He has a win. He is entitled to a waiver of playoff because he missed the Texas race.
