The NBA will have its 8th Champion franchise in the past 8 years

The parity time Continued in the NBA.

The New York Knicks have not won a NBA championship since 1973. The Indiana Pacers won their last title this year – in ABA. The Oklahoma City Thunder franchise has a title in its history that came in 1979 when the Seattle Home team called. And the Minnesota Timberwolves have never been in the NBA final.

Meet the NBA Final Four.

When Commissioner Adam Silver One of these teams hands over the Larry O'Brien Trophy next month, and a league will first mark the championship franchise company in seven years.

Since Golden State in 2017 and 2018 there has been no two-time NBA champion since Golden State. From there, the list of champions is as follows: Toronto in 2019, the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020, Milwaukee in 2021, Golden State in 2022, Denver in 2023 and Boston in the past season.

It is the longest of the various champions in NBA history. The Major League Baseball, the NHL and the NFL had all long and not too long ago.

But it's different for the NBA. The league wanted unpredictability, especially after four consecutive title games from Cleveland-Vs.-Golden State Title Matchups from 2015 to 2018.

And since then things have been very unpredictable. Regardless of what the final game this year is, the NBA will record 11 franchise company franchise franchise companies in seven seasons.

“We have eight more victories to achieve our last goal,” said Minnesota coach Chris Finch. “We still have two series. We are only halfway there.”

The season is over for 26 of the 30 clubs of the NBA. But the funny stuff is just starting.

Conference final at the beginning of Tuesday

The Western Conference Finale – No. 6 Seed Minnesota against No. 1 Seed Oklahoma City – begins on Tuesday evening in Oklahoma. The final of the Eastern Conference – No. 4 Seed Indiana against No. 3 Saatgut New York – begins in Manhattan on Wednesday evening. The wolves lost the West Finale last year; The Pacers lost the East Finale a year ago.

“You have to have big dreams,” said Pacers coach Rick Carlisle. “You don't know how often you will be in this position.”

In fact, the championship window for teams does not seem to stay open as long as in the past.

Boston was a big favorite to win his second title in a row. The Celtics did not rose from round 2, partly because they could not hold onto large leads and partly because Jayson Tatum broke his right Achilles tendon In this series with the Knicks.

“Anger or not whatever it is, we hit a great team,” said Knicks Guard Jalen Brunson. “You obviously lost a huge piece … but you are still a great team.”

Damian Lillard tore an Achilles tendon in round 1 and ended Milwaukee's hopes. Cleveland, the top seed in the east, leaned into round 2 against Indiana after a series of cavs had to deal with health problems. Stephen Curry stressed his knee tendon; That was all the chances of the Doom Golden State in round 2 against Minnesota.

“He is our sun,” said Steve Kerr, coach of Golden State. “This is a solar system. He is our sun.”

And now the NBA solar system is about to keep the new star the trophy.

The next

There is no one in these playoffs that was an NBA final MVP. Not even nearby.

In fact, there are only seven players – Indianas Pascal Siakam, Aaron Nesmith and Thomas Bryant; Knick's teammate PJ Tucker, Cam Payne and Mikal Bridges; And Alex Caruso von Oklahoma City, who performed in a final game. And most of these appearances didn't meet much; Siakam is the only player who is left in these playoffs with more than 100 final points.

So who will be the next MVP final? Maybe Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Canadian guard and probably MVP from thunder? The award winner “Mr. Clutch”, Brunson from the Knicks? Anthony Edwards, the next face of the league from the Timberwolves? Tyrese Haliburton, the dazzling security guard and Olympic gold medalist, who is repeatedly overlooked by all outside of Indiana?

None of them would be surprising decisions.

“Our ultimate goal is not just the final of the Western Conference,” said Gilgeous-Alexander. “You have to go through there to get there.”

Who has the edge?

If the NBA final Four were a league this season, it would indicate that the thunder is the clear favorites.

Oklahoma City went 6-2 against the other three conference finalists, while New York and Indiana both went 3: 4 and Minnesota 3: 5.

The thunder swept the Pacers and Knicks, and the Pacers swept the timber wolves.

With regard to the head-to-heads that go to the conference final, Oklahoma City and Minnesota have shared four meetings-and the Timberwolves exceeded Thunder 475-472-, while the Knicks against Indiana went 2-1 and have decided with at least 11 points.

“You can feel good and feel how you want to feel about it,” said Haliburton that you get to this point. “But at the end of the day we are not finished. We know that we all have a bigger goal. Our goal was not only to get to the final of the Eastern Conference and be ready. Our goal is to win a championship.”
