The new name of the Utah Hockey Club may have been accidentally leaked by the team himself. Thanks to some attentive eyes online, the fans found that the team's handle was changed in the team's official YouTube channel to record “mammoth”.

On Tuesday evening, the fans noticed that the official YouTube handle for the “@utahhockey club” team changed to “@utahmammoth”. The channel was quickly deactivated and did not come back online.

ESPN turned to Utah, and Mike Maughan, Executive of Smith Entertainment Group, said that the process of choosing a new name is still in progress.

“We are on the right track to announce a permanent name and a permanent identity before the NHL season 25-26 and to look forward to sharing this with our fans when we do it,” said Maughan.

Since moving from Arizona, the team has used its current name in Utah Hockey Club. This is one of the names that are taken into account together with Mammut, Yeti and Outlaws for the constant nickname.

Since the branding of Utah goes through a facelifting, the Delta Center also becomes. The Heimarena of the team, which was originally only equipped for basketball, will be preserved renovation work to make Hockeeyfreunde. While the name and the arena can change, the team's color scheme remains the same and offers “Rock Black”, “Salt White” and “Mountain Blue”.
