UK Wildcats News: Former cats in the final of the NBA conference

Now that we are a little more than a month in the NBA playoffs, the conference finale has finally arrived.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will compete against the Thunder of Oklahoma City in the west, while the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks will fight in the east.

All four teams have at least one former Kentucky Wildcat on their squad, with Julius Randle and Rob Dillingham representing the Timberwolves together with Cason Wallace and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who help to lead the thunder in the west.

In the meantime, Isaiah Jackson is currently playing for the Pacers, and Karl-Anthony Towns has contributed to leading the Knicks to their first conference final since 2000.

The conference finale begins tomorrow evening when the Timberwolves visit the thunder, followed by the Pacers who visit the Knicks on Wednesday.

It is a fairly quick turn for thunder when you consider that they were in a fight 7 against Denver Nuggets on Sunday afternoon.

But even far, they are by far the deepest team in the NBA -with full homecourt -advantage for the playoffs -which has led to their current chances of winning -175 to win the NBA title.
