Gas leak in the lower valley

El Paso, Texas (KVIA) – El Paso Fire Crews reacted to a gas leak in a medical center on the Nordschleife in the lower valley.

The call that reported the smell of gas in the area came at 1:27 p.m. this afternoon.

In the area it is construction work and firefighters say that the crews may have hit a gas line.

The crews ventilated the nearby medical offices and Texas gas gives the situation by calling a dig crew. One person was rated on site, but decided not to go to the hospital.

At 3:02 a.m. the Dig crew arrived at the scene, which was then handed over to Texas gas, says an EPFD spokesman.
