(Ripley County, Ind.)-The MPs of the Ripley County sheriff reacted to an accident with two vehicles with an off-road vehicle on Saturday evening.

The crash took place around 10:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of the North Old Michigan Road.

On arrival, the MPs found a Polaris Ranger and a Chevy Silverado on the street. The crash was almost a complete frontal collision.

Brandi Eaton, 49, from Holton was caught in the off-road vehicle. It was flown to the UC Medical Center with unknown injuries and flown to the UC Medical Center.

The driver of Silverado, Kenneth Geisler, 32, from Madison, was unharmed.

The first examination shows that the Polaris had traveled south on the Old Michigan Road and the Silverado was north when the vehicles collided in the middle of the street.

It is assumed that alcohol provides a factor for crash.

The Old Michigan Road was closed for about three and a half hours due to investigations and cleanup.

The crash is examined.
