The Indy 500 is less than a week away and the preparation is in full swing. The 33 drivers who fight for the title will go on the route today before the big race on Sunday on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Indy 500 exercise streaming options

The race was already action -packed and full of disturbances. Robert Shwartzman from Prema Racing took the bar and marked the first time that an Indy 500 -rookie driver has done this since 1983.

The Penske team met with difficulties in pole qualifying. Scott McLaughlin fell during the morning training session and Josef Newgarden and will Power Failed Inspection. All three could not take part in qualifying and will start from the fourth row.

The 109th Indy 500 is set for Sunday, May 25th, with the green flag at 12:45 p.m.
