Chicago (WLS) – A 64-year-old man was killed in a stab on the nearby west side on Monday morning, said the Chicago police.

The stitch took place around 7:47 a.m. in the 2400 block of the West Gladys Avenue.

The police said the victim was in an alley when an unknown male suspect approached and got into a verbal argument with the victim.

The suspect then took out a knife and stabbed the victim several times, the police said.

The victim was brought to the striker hospital, where he was declared dead.

The suspect fled the scene and is not in custody, the police said. Detectives in the region four examinations.
