2025 NBA Champion Opportunities: Thunder dominant favorites with SGA that leads in the final MVP chances

The NBA playoffs were full of drama and surprises in two rounds. However, the chances say that it would be a shock if the Thunder von Oklahoma City had not won the title at that time. Oklahoma City is a strong favorite of -175 to win everything at BetmGM.

The thunder was pushed into the game 7 against the Nuggets in the second round against the Denver Nuggets, but the nuggets were not in full strength, since Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. played through injuries. Three of the four abandoned teams have never won an NBA title. The Knicks recently won one in 1973.

The conference finale begins on Tuesday when the Thunder organizes the Timberwolves in game 1. It is not only the thunder that gains the series (-350), but also the probability that the series ends in five games than seven.

The two teams shared four meetings in the regular season. Three of these meetings took place on both sides of the All-Star break within a few weeks.

In the Eastern Conference, the No. 3 seeds begin with the home advantage against No. 4 Indiana Pacers. It is the first time in 2021 that neither of the two best seeds made it to the final of the Eastern Conference. This year Milwaukee No. 3 No. 5 Atlanta and later won the NBA final against Phoenix.

The Pacers return to the Eastern Conference final after being swept in this round by the later Champion Boston last year. The Knicks are preferred to win the series (-155), but Indiana is far from getting a long shot at +130. The Knicks won two of the three regular season, although two of them (one victory and a defeat) were in the first month of the season.

SGA Clear NBA Finals MVP Favorit

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokić joined the playoffs against the head and NBA fans have discussed which of the two should win the regular MVP of the regular season. Since Sgas Donner comes by Jokić's Nuggets, there is no debate that is the clear favorite to win the final. Gilgeous -Alexander is -160 at BetMGM, which is recognized as the final MVP.

Of course, this correlates with the title rates of the thunder. The main weapons of the other competitors also match the title of their team. New York Jalen Brunson is +500, Anthony Edwards +750 and Tyrese Haliburton +1000.
