Three injured in the rollover crash on Monday morning on the I-70 near Hays

Hays, Kan. (Wibw) – After a Rollover crash in the early Monday, three people were taken to the hospital at Interstate 70 in Ellis County in Western Kansas – including a person who had suffered serious injuries.

The crash was registered on Monday at 4:20 a.m. on the I-70 in the east, west of the Yocemento Avenue.

The location was about five miles west of Hays on the I-70.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a GMC Sierra Pickup 2018, which dragged a trailer, drove to the east on the I-70 when he left the road to the left, went into the ditch and rolled an unknown number of paints.

The driver Richard G. Needy, 59, from Smithburg, Md., Was brought to the Hays Medical Center with serious injuries. The patrol said that the needy wore his seat belt.

Two passengers were also brought to the Hays Medical Center with alleged minor injuries. They were identified as Dale E. Freed, 66, and Gary L. Knepp, 78, both from Newport, PA.

The patrol said all the inmates of the pickup wore their seat belts.
