Lasalle Parish, La. (Knoe) – A woman from Trout is accused of several crimes after a motorcyclist died on Sunday, May 18, in an accident with two vehicles.

The state police in Louisiana arrested Kathleen Kendrick (50) after soldiers reacted to a crash in which Enterprise Roger Bordelon (51) was killed.

According to LSP, Kendrick drove a Silverado who went west in Louisiana Hwy. 8 At the same time, Bordelon drove a motorcycle to the east.

LSP said Kendrick tried to bend left on LA. Hwy 773 when your vehicle hit the motorcycle and was thrown off on Bordelon and his passenger.

Bordelon died at the scene and his passenger was taken to a local hospital for moderate injuries.

LSP said the impairment was a suspected factor in the crash.

“The Louisiana State Police would like to remind all drivers that if they feel differently, they drive differently. Alcohol, prescription medication and other drugs have many effects on the body that negatively influence driving knowledge,” said LSP in a press release.

Kendrick was arrested under several charges, including the failure of the addition, operation of a vehicle during impairment, vehicle negligent injuries and vehicle murder.

The examination continues.
