Detectives looking for vehicles that are bound with an accident in downtown Nashville

Nashville, Tenn. (WSMV)-a search for the driver who is responsible for a hit-and-run who sent a young man from Florida to the hospital on Sunday evening in Nashville.

According to the Metro Nashville police, 21-year-old Zachary Carach was hit by a car in the 1500 block of Church Street at around 6 p.m. Carach reported that the zebra crossing was used when he was hit, and the driver did not stay at the scene.

Detective identified a white Mitsubishi Mirage as the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run, and published photos that show the car with front-end damage on the passenger side.

Carach suffered serious injuries during the incident and was brought to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment. His injuries are numerous, but none of them are considered life -threatening.
