Brad Stevens throws more light on Jaylen Brown's knee injury

Boston – With the Celtics season, more injury messages have triggered in the past few days as expected. This includes the star of C, Jaylen Brown, reports a partially torn meniscus that could require surgery.

The president of Boston President Brad Stevens in his media availability at the end of the season on Monday more detailed of Brown's injuries. The knee edition first appeared in March when Brown had to do with it throughout the playoffs.

“Jaylen wants to play, Jaylen's A Warriors, Jaylen is very proud to be out there,” said Stevens. “And at the same time he obviously saw our team documents and a few other people and as he said a few weeks ago, the knee is structurally in a good place.

“And so I think he felt comfortable when he came out of it and has gone there. And hopefully he will feel better after having not been away for a few weeks. The unfortunate part is that we are finished in mid -May, but some of these types that have a few nicks, bruises and other things that will do it well.”

In the playoffs it was clear that Brown was not 100% because his outbursts and sportiness were not exhibited as in previous years. Brown scored an average of 22.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists in his 11 playoffs games and shot 44.1% off the field. It sounds as if Brown's knee problem shouldn't be too serious in the future.

At the end of the playoffs, Brown owed a large part of the responsibility after Jayson Tatum Tatum's Achilles injuries at the end of the end of the season. But in the end the Celtics didn't have enough in them and fell to the Knicks in the east in the east. The C-games 1 and 2 at home of the series blow 20 points and put a disappointing end of their year.

The C fought with several injuries or problems in the playoffs apart from Tatum and Brown. Jrue Holiday had to miss most of the first round due to a knee tendon load. Kristapaps Porzingi's illness was mostly a mystery because the big man could not influence during the Knicks series. Regardless of this, what is done will look at a potential summer of change as Stevens and the Celtics front office.

“Everything Jaylen said to me and said here, I think that what I just said is probably the view,” said Stevens. “What was reported this weekend was something that he had had for some time and it was stable. So that was a few scans through and through.
