Woman who was supposedly shot and fed by ex-boyfriend

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB/Gray News) – A woman in Louisiana was shot by her ex friend, just a few moments after the MPs left their home.

According to the Sheriff East Baton Rouge's office, 24-year-old Brandon Bell killed 22-year-old Kayelyn Ford shortly after May 19, 22-year-old Kayelyn Ford.

Officials said Ford called the MPs to an apartment in the 9800 block of the Hooper Road and complained that their ex-boyfriend tried to use an old key to enter their apartment.

The MPs responded to the scene and searched the apartment, then went after they hadn't seen a sign of him. Bell supposedly ran over Ford and shot after the MPs left the scene.

After he allegedly shot Ford, he turned the gun on himself. At the moment he is in a critical condition in the hospital. It is not expected that he will survive according to the spokesman for the sheriff office.

Court files show that Bell was arrested in April and charged with domestic abuse battery.

Baton Rouge's responding police authority wrote in an affidavit that Bell and an unanimous victim argued when things were physically.

According to an affidavit, Bell told the officer that he started fighting with the victim after he was asked to leave the apartment and began to beat him.

The victim reported reportedly told the officer that Bell was asked to go “broken” after the “promise”. The victim said Bell attacked an affidavit.

Court files show that Bell was granted a bond of $ 1,000. A protective arrangement was also submitted in which the order bell was from Ford within 100 meters.
