EAST LAS VEGAS VALLEY STICTIONS HAILY OF CALIFORNIES | Murders

A suspect in a fatal stab this month in an apartment on the East Las Vegas Valley was arrested.

Delvison Escalona-Hernandez, 26, was custody on Wednesday by the Los Angeles police department, according to a press release from the Metropolitan Police Department. It is recorded in the North County Correctional facility until delivery in Las Vegas.

The police were called to an apartment in the 3200 block of the East Desert Inn Road near the Boulder Highway shortly before 11:25 a.m. on May 4th.

Officers found the victim, which was later identified as Yexon Lopez Escalona (24) from Las Vegas and suffered from obvious stab wounds. The medical staff replied and transported him to a local hospital, where it was later declared dead.

Clark County's Coroner's office said that the cause of death was several sharp force injuries and death was a murder.
