Annapolis Spring Sailboat starts the season with strong number of visitors and new highlights

The seafarers from the mid-atlantic gathered from April 25th to 27th at the City Dock to mark the official start of the 2025 sailing season at the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show. The event organized by Annapolis Boat shows consisted of more than 50 sailing boats, a number of seminars and workshops and the US debut of a new electric motor.

US debut from Temo 1000 Electric Outbo Border

One of the most important product terminations of the event was the US premiere of the Temo 1000 Electric outdoor border. The model 1000 developed by the French manufacturer Temo builds on the success of the Temo 450 in a tube style with a new blade -like design. It delivers the equivalent of three horsepower with its 1100 watt engine, which is suitable for large offers and sailing boats of up to 26 feet.

The first sailing workshop reaches the capacity before the show

This year's first sailing workshop, which is supposed to introduce beginners into sailing, was sold out before the show opened. The program included a 45-minute classroom meeting, followed by 90 minutes of lessons in the water. In addition to the workshop, the event offered free seminars and presented a dozen boats below 26 feet to improve participation in sport.

Competitive sailing prominently presented

The 2025 show focused on competitive sailing. The visitors saw performance -oriented ships like Melges 15 and Rondar 640 Viper. The Oakcliff Collaboration Tour under the direction of the Sailing veteran Dawn Riley was also presented, in which initiatives were emphasized to support and expand the racing community.

Second largest all-sailboat show in the nation

With more than 50 boots on display, this year's Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show strengthened its status as the country's second largest all-sild show after the autumn sailing boat show by Annapolis. The list exceeded the number of sailing boats in previous years and exceeded the number of sailing boats, which were shown in larger boat exhibitions with several types, including those in Miami and Newport.

“Between the boats, the seminars and the incredible energy in the city center, the weekend was a celebration of everything we love sailing,” said Annapolis Boat President Mary Ewenson. “It was the perfect kickoff for another unforgettable sailing time.”

The Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show was supported by several sponsors, including the visits to Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, Lavictire Finance, Boatus, the Marine Trades Association of Maryland and the Spinsheet Magazine.
