NBA Playoffs Opportunities, Lines, Betting: Oklahoma City Thunder, Switch to the Western Conference Finale

The 2025 NBA playoffs are in full swing and the last four teams are now set.

The Oklahoma City Thunder (-175) are now the chances-on title favorites at BetMGM, followed by the New York Knicks (+450), the Minnesota Timberwolves (+500) and the Indiana Pacers (+800).

Oklahoma City is a massive favorite against Minnesota in the Western Conference Finale, the greatest favorite that the franchise has ever been in a conference finale. The Knicks -155 series favorites are in the east, which has only been preferred for the second time in a conference final series in the past 50 years.

While public betting during the NBA season can temporarily fluctuate due to all the injuries and load management, the playoffs are a big betting event, Thomas Gable, sports book director at the Borgata in Atlantic City – a BetMGM book – said Yahoo Sports.

“From the betting point of view, the handle is very good,” said Gablle. “The NBA suffers from the way they rest the daily season with the players, and I think many of the leisure players have therefore picked out from the NBA. But the playoffs are a completely different story.”
