New York Knicks, OKC Thunder in the final of the NBA conference preferred

The king (and kings) are dead.

For the eighth time in so many seasons, the NBA will crown a new champion in 2025 after a series of playoff disorders were only presented to a seed No. 1 of the 68-Sieg-Thunder by Oklahoma City City, which developed into a conference finale on Tuesday.

West No. 6 Seed Minnesota and East No. 4 Seed Indiana are the only members of the Final Four 2024, which are ready, and both were outsiders in the last round.

The timber wolves were considered the least likely repetition of a field to which the defending champion Boston Celtics, the renovated Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers and the 2023 champion Denver Nuggets.

Since Steve Kerr/Kevin Durant/Stephen Curry Warriors in 2017 to 18, no NBA team has repeated itself when Durant was the final MVP in both years.

Only the Knicks won a title under this group, and that was 52 years ago.

In order to get here, ripen and matured Indiana and Oklahoma City, which made their 2024 service plans made small changes. Minnesota and the Knicks have been implemented with each other and pushed forward with Power Forwards in a deal that has paid off for both.

Injuries played a role in determining the finalists how it happened.

The T-Wolves' won the last four games in the series and will meet the Beeal-Best dog in the West Finale, which begins on Tuesday. Minnesota wants to take revenge against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks last season.

A No. 1 -Seed team has won eight of the last 12 championships. A No. 2 seeds won twice during this time, as did a No. 3 seed. The 1989 Celtics are the only victory number 4, and the 1995 Houston Rockies are the only No. 6 to do this.

Oklahoma City Thunder

The thunder came as the youngest team in the league into the season, which had painted out of the playoffs from the playoffs in the second round of Dallas from the playoffs. The Breit body center Isaiah Hartenstein was the principle -rotation add -on.

When game 7 of the semi-final series against Denver was the lacquer test for the MVP price of the league, the Thunder Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will win. He had 24 points, four templates and three steals at winning 125-93 of the Thunder. Nikola Jokic went 20/9/7.

Gilgeous-Alexander had games of 37, 39 and 40 in the season series.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Surprise. The T-Wolves are back here, behind Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert, Jaden McDaniels and the newcomer Julius Randle, who blew up in the playoffs. Randle has an average of almost 24 points, six rebounds and six templates because the wolves won eight out of 10.

The point-wapping behind Edwards and Gilgeous-Alexander will be a national act, but the wolves of Donner support themselves on a sticky defense and the marginal protection that Big Men Gobert and Thunder Center (and Minneapolis born) offer Chet Holmgren.

One of the teams will make his first trip to the NBA final.

Predict: Oklahoma City in seven.

East Final: New York against Indiana

New York Knickerbockers

The Knicks offensive plan is simple enough. Give Jalen Brunson the ball and get out of the way. So easy to stop. With his penetration skills and his mid-range games, Brunson defies the opponents to do something against something. He achieved an average of 28.8 points and 22.3 field goals in the playoffs per game.

The Knicks play at a relatively slow pace, which reduces the minutes of the league leader per game. The new piece of Karl-Anthony Towns replaced Randle without a trailer, and Mikal Bridges and Josh Hart bring this toughness and skills of Villanova on both sides of the ball.

Indiana Pacers

The Pacers have recently had history to go to Bank on Bank. In the second round of the 2024 Playoffs, they defeated the Knicks in seven games, and game 7 was a record festival of Laugher. In a 130-109 victory Madison Square Garden, the Pacers shot a single game play0ff record of 67.1 percent.

Rick Carlisles Pacers are an anomaly. They play three points, sometimes all at once. The ball pushes the ball, distributes the floor and has a versatile line -up that can and will shoot from everywhere. Center Myles Turner is a three -point threat. Guard Tyrese Haliburton, her leader, is an average of 17.5 points and a league heights of 9.3 templates in the playoff series victory against Milwaukee and Cleveland.

Prediction: Indiana in six.
