Morgan Stanley reveals private equity find, who are approaching with high-networking investors, the multi-billion dollar increase

Morgan Stanley Investment Management has introduced the North Haven Private Assets Fund, an evergreen private equity vehicle that is aimed at investors with high network advertising that goes beyond traditional public markets.

The strategy is aimed at co-investments and seconds in the lower middle market and offers a gateway in private equity for customers who were previously excluded from the wealth class due to high entry barriers. The company has not disclosed a formal fundraising target, more than several billion dollars is collected in the medium term.

“We had a place in the front row for the opportunity, the appetite and the demand for private equity in a format that is more user -friendly for individual investors,” said Nehaha Champaneria Markle, head of private equity solutions at Morgan Stanley. “There is enough understanding of how private equity works, how this type of vehicles works so that we can make ourselves comfortable to start our strategy.”

The fund is initially offered exclusively Morgan Stanley customers, with plans for a broader sales in the future.

This start reflects a growing industry trend. Both traditional and alternative asset managers are increasingly adapting products for wealthy retail investors to unlock new capital pools and diversify their investor base.
