2 injured after the bus on the playground in Minneapolis Day Care on the playground

Two children were injured when a school bus at the intersection of Nicollet Avenue and 60th Street West crashed to a playground in front of the Creative early learning center, the Minneapolis police said.

A full size school bus seemed to have plowed over playground equipment, and the mutilated remains of a green swing set were wrapped around the front tires of the bus.

At the time of the crash, a total of three children were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities add that there were also two children on the bus who were not injured in the crash. Minneapolis Public Schools confirmed in a statement that she had opened the bus company.

Grace Holt told KStP that parents had received an SMS that alerted them about the crash. She added that her son was in order and was in the building at the time of the crash.

Holt said that she got the alarm when she was already on the way to pick up her son.
