For those who missed the show – in honor of Nelson's birthday – there are three highlights here:

Willie Nelson with George Strait:

George Strait does not very often go into the spotlight these days, but he made the trip to Los Angeles to “sing with Willie on his birthday”. Nelson and Strait shared the stage, Strait Serenading Nelson with his song about how he could never sing with him. Strait published “Sing One with Willie” in 2019, a collaboration with Nelson. The men sat on stools, played their acoustic guitars and sang about their adoration for each other.

Texts belong: (Strait) Look at me now, I sing with Willie | Thank you, man, you just made my career | (Nelson) Well, you should say something, Strait | I always thought we would sound great And I finally had to sing one with Ol 'George

Texas Royalty also has a duetted in Nelson's famous cooperation “Pancho and Lefty”.

Willie Nelson and Snoop Dog:

Snoop Dog praised with Death Row Trackhose immediately after the street. He asked Nelson if they could sing the next song “In The Key of Smoke”.

Nelson started his 2012 fan favorite “Roll Me Up”. The complete poetry is: roll me up and smoke me when I die. Snoop Dog smoked on stage and danced in his seat when Nelson covered the characteristic acoustic guitars.

“Someone smokes out there tonight?” Asked Snoop Dog. “Roll one for Mr. Nelson.”
The fact that the disrespectful performance followed was used to highlight the variety of Nelson's music and friend group.

Kris Kristofferson and Rosanne Cash:

Kristofferson was 86 years old and had health for many years when Rosanne Cash helped him honor his dear friend Willie Nelson in Hollywood. Nelson and Kristofferson founded the super group, the motorway man, with Cash's father Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Kristofferson had stopped performing a long time ago and lived in Hawaii, but went on a journey to honor his old friend. The audience exploded when they saw him. He and Cash made a delicate version of his song “Lovin 'she was easier (than everything I will ever do again).” When Kristofferson gave a great hug in the end, it was impossible not to feel the love and respect of the group.
Kristofferson died the following year.
