IDF announces the death of Sergeant Yosef Yehuda Chirak – Israel News

The IDF announced the death of Sergeant Yosef Yehuda Chirak on Monday, who fell during the fight in the northern Gaza Strip.

The 22 -year -old Chirak came from the Israeli outpost Harasha in Binyamin Regional Council in northern West Bank and was a soldier in the 601st Combat Engineering battalion of the military.

He only married his wife Emunah seven months ago and left his parents and three sisters behind.

Two IDF soldiers were also wounded in the incident in which chirak was killed.

Israel Ganz, the head of the regional council of Binyamin, said: “Only a few months ago we danced together at Yosef Yehuda's wedding, and now we were informed about his fall in the fight. He went out to fight the enemy. Together with our dear Emunah, he built a house in which everything was about commitment.
