Macron's office immersed in Major Perrier Mineral Water Scandal

Paris – call it the French Watergate.

The legendary French mineral water brand Perrier is at the center of a fresh scandal that threatens to bubble and reach through the highest government.

Nestlé Waters praised the French government, including people near the French President Emmanuel Macron, the sale of brand mineral water, which surrounded the strict French regulations, and effectively led consumers misleadingly, as was published from a report published on Monday.

At the center of the allegations are NestlĂ© Waters' supposedly unauthorized use of carbon filters and ultraviolet light – methods that are normally applied to tap water – for the treatment of mineral water for several of its brands, including the sparkling sparkling water. However, the strict regulations of France aim to ensure that natural mineral water remains in and unchanged and justifies the high price tags paid by consumers.
