Predictions of the NBA conference final

The second round of the NBA playoffs was full of exciting matchups and unexpected ends. In the east, the Pacers and Knick's teams defeated nobody expected to beat them. In the west, the Timberwolves and Thunder took care of their opponents. Now that the second round is over, it is time to predict who will win the conference final.

The Oklahoma City Thunder against the Minnesota Timberwolves

I think after this matchup has looked at, all seven games will take to decide who is progressing to the NBA final.

The thunder comes to this matchup after a tight series with the Denver Nuggets that went seven games. What ultimately lifted the thunder through the series was an excellent game by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

The thunder won two close games in which Gilgeous-Alexander was the engine of her crime. The other two games were won in blowout fashion – including game 2 when they scored 149 points.

After a series of five games against the Golden State Warriors, the Timberwolves had time to rest. After a surprising loss in game 1, the Timberwolves rattled four victories against the warriors.
These dominating victories came to a large extent from Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards, both on average over 25 points per game in the series.

Both teams have the offensive firepower to win in the playoffs. However, the Timberwolves showed a better defense and hustle and bustle, which is why I think they will take this series in seven games.

The New York Knicks against the Indiana Pacers

Jayson Tatum may take six games and an out -of -date injury, but the Knicks are in the conference final for the first time since 2000. As a team that many thought that Boston would work quickly, the Knicks pulled out the surprise.

The Knicks were not only hot on the offensive if they had to be, they also played a solid defense in the entire series. Because of their performance, I think that the Knicks can wear most of the opponents to climb to the NBA final.

However, the Pacers are even better than I expected. After predicted that they defeated the cavaliers in seven games, I was shocked when they defeated them in five. Everyone on the pacers of the squad came together to increase the team aggressively, also in their last comeback that game 2 of the series won them.

They conveniently defeated the Cavaliers in any other game in the series – largely driven by their efficient shootout and a impeccable ball movement.

Now, in a reservations of the Eastern Conference 2000, I do not see that the result is changing. While the Knicks have shown the ability to get defensive profits with a low score, this defense largely works when teams rely on isolation games.

The Pacers play more than a team than a team than isolated, and if they can maintain their three -point efficiency, they will win this series in six games.
