A malfunction of the air conditioning system on a Cat Linh-Ha Dong subway train let water arrive in a car on Monday, which caused some commuters to use umbrellas.

At around 5:20 p.m., the passengers were surprised that water was constantly dripping off the ceiling.

Some opened umbrellas opened while others changed in different places.

On Tuesday morning, the operator of the Hanoi Metro Co., Ltd., made an explanation in which the cause of the leak in the air conditioning system control system was an error.

A drainage problem in the air conditioning led to the drop, it was said.

After receiving symptoms, the employees instructed the passengers to quickly solve the problem and clean the autobods so that the service was not set.

The train was later sent to the Phu Luong depot for inspection and repair.

Technical experts were called to solve the problem by Tuesday.

The Hanoi -Metro found that the trains and technical systems were manufactured and delivered in 2017.

“This rare and unfortunate incident of water leaks from the climate system system, which caused passengers in a car to be inconvenient and hygienic concerns, is regrettable. We sincerely apologize to our passengers.”

In February, the Cat Linh – Ha Dong Line suffered a service disorder due to a power failure, and passengers were refunded and recommended to look for other means of transport.

The 13 kilometer increased line was inaugurated in 2021 with 12 stations.

Each train has four cars that can wear up to 960 passengers.
