The health of Bellin raises the donation of organ, eye and tissue during the national donation month of donations

Green Bay, Wis. (Wbay) – Bellin's health emphasized how important it is to become an organ, eye and tissue dispenser on Wednesday as part of the national donation month.

The ICU's nurses and the health of Bellin Chaplain, who are present, celebrated those who saved life through the gift of donation.

The celebration includes the placement of paper birds on a ceremonial tree to represent those donated, as well as a flag education and a moment of silence.

“This month for special recognition is a time to encourage the Americans to register as an organ, eye and tissue dispenser. And to honor those who saved life through the gift of donation,” said Maria Lodenkamp.
