Mother accused of burning family dogs to death after the 11-year-old son called in 911

Henderson, Texas (KLTV/Gray News)-a Texan woman was arrested after the MPs said her 11-year-old son called her and claimed that she burned the family dogs.

Rusk County's deputies say an 11-year-old boy called on Saturday at 1 a.m. and his mother told him that she believed that he was the devil and was in the middle of the burning of the family dogs, reports KLTV.

While the deputies were on the way to the family house in Henderson, a second call came at 1:04 a.m. from a neighbor who said that a woman came to her home with blood and claimed “her parents were killed”.

The authorities arrived at 1:08 p.m. and found the 32-year-old Veronica Loredo in a vehicle with four children between 1 and 11 years. The MPs stated that they also found the remains of the dogs in a fire that burned in front of the house in Loredo.

Loredo was arrested and was charged with two cruelty for non-Live Stock animals and four cases of having a child. Their overall bond was set at 400,000 US dollars.

The Rusk County Sheriff Johnwayne Valdez could not comment on the incident, but said that child protection services are also examined.
