Accident with four vehicles on Highway 6 near St. Joseph leaves Ms. Tot and five injured

An accident with four vehicles on the Highway 6 Three miles east of St. Joseph let a woman and some others injured on Monday afternoon, said Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on May 19, 2025 at 3:30 p.m., when a Lincoln MKZ driven by a 49-year-old woman from Clarksdale crossed the center line near Hurlingen Road. The Lincoln hit the back driver side of a Nissan Rogue to the west, then drove from the south side of the highway, hit a concrete barrier, stepped back into the street and crossed the center line again.

The Lincoln then hit the rear driver side of a Ford F150 from 2016 in the west and continued.

The driver of the Lincoln, who wore a seat belt, was made by Dr. Kevin Tran declared dead at 4:22 p.m.

The 63-year-old woman, who drove the Nissan Rogue together with a 9-year-old girl who was a passenger, suffered minor injuries. Both were transported by Buchanan County Ems to mosaic life care.

The 37-year-old woman, who drove the Chevrolet Taoe, was not wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. Two children, who drove in the Tahoe, 9-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girls' sausage. The boy suffered moderate injuries while the girl suffered minor injuries. All three were transported by Buchanan County Ems to mosaic life care.

The driver of the Ford F150, a 44-year-old man from St. Joseph, was not injured and drove his vehicle out of the scene. The Tahoe, Rogue and Lincoln have all total damage and were towed.

The Sheriff department of the Buchanan County supported the Missouri State Highway Patrol at the scene.
